2015 : I've decided to keep my theme "Tunisia Past & present" and to enlarge my collection.

The Punic Tomb Stone
The stone is made with distressed painted felt (with hot gun)
The background : hand dyed linen
The birds are discharged.

Bella's quilts

Bella is not able to post, so I will do this for her. The theme she has chosen is Jerusalem and here are her quilts:

The fabrics used are her own hand dyed ones plus screen printed.

Raw edge appliqué for the Bougainvillea, painted fusible web for the door, beads and french knots for the nails

I'll continue the same theme in 2015.

The different prints are made with a lino block, and compressed sponge
The poppies seed heads are painted with Derwent watercolor pencils.
